Gustav Klimt is famous for his provocative judgment: all art is erotic. If you look at his works, you can see in a picture of a tree the sensuality and seductive joy of life. The Austrian does not merely paint nature: he refines it with decorative exaggerations and his rich golden palette of colors. Gold is Klimt's trademark anyway. The founder of the Viennese Secession - a movement of Art Nouveau - influenced the capital of Austria like no other with numerous wall murals and large-scale works of art.
