| The view of Nela allows the viewer to take a little fantasy trip. Because the numerous ornaments with which this impressive frame is equipped seem to tell stories. In order to keep them in the shaft, the ornamental strip was placed in delicate wooden strips, which are a perfect conclusion to the art print, but also to the wall. The narrow double strips towards the inside of the picture are once again complemented by another thin border with the same ornaments from the broad side - as if the optical story plates wanted to pave the way to the coveted object: the framed art print. In addition to the formal design of Nela, the makers also paid attention to expressive finesse when coloring. Gold and silver colors are represented here as well as shallow elements in red and black. While the latter forms the subsurface, the narrow wooden strips are completely gilded, which reinforces their calming character in the overall picture. The color of the ornaments is also wild. Red, silver and gold don't adhere to any particular arrangement here - everyone dances wherever they like. This coloring impresses in the overall picture, however, in that the three colors combine to form a gold with a special character. |
