| Mara is a dark brown frame from the Ambiente 2 series. The painting frame measures 62 mm in width and 32 mm in height. The shape is kept quite simple. So the upper edge begins with a narrow double bar. While the upper one looks good in said dark brown, the second bar is almost black. The following broad main part is an inwardly curved ledge. This captivates with a color gradient, in which it begins with a warm, reddish brown on the outside and becomes increasingly darker on the inside. The same design style was chosen for the border inside the picture. However, this is accompanied by two almost black notches above and below. The contrast is reinforced by the very last row in this ensemble, which comes into play again with the reddish brown. Finally, the motif to be framed can follow. If you are still a beginner of art and are not sure which picture fits which frame, you can always assume that if the colors of the frame and motif harmonize, you have made a good choice. Another aspect would be to let the complementary colors speak, those that are exactly opposite in the color wheel. |
