Painting Frames "Mailin" |
Silber ornamentiert • Serie: Nika • Width: 58mm • Height: 30mm |
The makers of the Mailin picture frame came up with an unusual color combination. A mixture of silver, red and some elements in black adorn the frame across its entire format. This is kept in an ornament-rich pattern that causes a sensation on the real wood. Like a silver lining on the horizon, the outermost trim strip of the frame is a welcome entry into the further sequence of the various strips from Mailin. The edge of the frame shines in strong silver, which ends here with a delicate wooden strip in plan view. This is followed by an ornamental firework of floral elements, lily leaves, buttercups and forget-me-nots - flowers wherever you look. These carvings are arranged in alternation across the bar, which despite the wild nature results in a fairly orderly sequence. While two simple, narrow double strips join here, the conclusion comes in the form of a thin ornament strip towards the inside of the picture. This masterpiece of formal combination is made even more attractive by the individual color ensemble. A bright red patina served as the base for the frame, which occasionally shimmers charmingly in some places, as did the incorporated black effects, while the silver on the formal ornaments fully unfolds its shine. |
