| When choosing suitable frames for their favorite pieces, art lovers are often spoiled for choice. The Academic frame series, however, offers everyone a suitable companion for paintings of all kinds. Real classics are used here, including Leonie as a black frame with a gold edge. The real wood frame with the dimensions 59x26 mm was provided with an impulsive black, which has a silky matt surface. In its entirety, this looks like velvet, and so Leonie looks very soft overall in the black coloring. The shiny gold border alone stands out from this. But this is very clever, because here the rather matt gloss was retained, which forms a unit with the black in terms of the surface. In terms of color, however, the grandiose contrast between black and gold should be emphasized. The gold edging is one of Leonie's narrow lasts, so it's not too bulky, but just gives the perfect accent. The widest border is the main part of the frame. A rounded notch has been inserted here, above which a square ledge skillfully moves into the room. All of the details taken as a whole result in a classic frame that offers an adequate home for art prints. |
