| Another classic among the models in the Academie picture frame series is the Leni frame. Again and again the combination of black and gold looks particularly noble. The designers created Leni in exactly this mixture and created an all-rounder that gives every art print an adequate border in stylish real wood. The gold was used rather sparingly, but skillfully. It is applied to the inner picture bar with incorporated darker dots and wood grain effects. The class that Leni radiates is enhanced by the sublime black, which combines with the gold to form a noble piece. Due to the reddish accents that appear in the black, it looks like a dark brown in the colonial style. The matt surface with which the gold edging was applied confirms Leni's exquisite style. Just as the colors have been chosen preciously, so does the Leni last. Less is more, the designers thought, and with just a concave main bar that closes at the top and bottom with a simple border and a wave-like top bar at the top, they didn't make much of a fuss when they designed the real wood - and yet created a noble frame, who would love to move into a studio. |
