Painting Frames "Henriette" |
Silber • Serie: Sevilla • Width: 87mm • Height: 41mm |
Henriette is a silver frame of superlatives. It captivates with its impressive dimensions, which are an impressive 87 mm wide, and from the wall it projects 41 mm high into the room. The real wood bar was divided into three different areas. In the upper area there is a narrow, simple double bar and in the inner part a single bar, both of which frame the large central bar optically. This middle part forms the center of the frame, because here experiments with baroque ornaments were carried out. The bulbous structures resemble twisting tendrils that are strung together and surround the frame as an ornament chain. In terms of color, the designers chose strong silver, which is almost reddish in its nuance. With other design elements, the frame has been given a character with so-called deliberate aging effects that fits epochally with the baroque ornaments. There are signs of color abrasion on the bulbous ornamental elements, which indicates a look at the wood underneath, which in this case appears as light brown. While holes and grooves also decorate the bar, a craquelé was added as the icing on the cake. This is an imitation of the hairline cracks that appear on old oil paintings. |
