Painting Frames "Franka" |
Ulme Furnier • Serie: Ulme Furnier • Width: 20mm • Height: 14mm |
Franka is another model from the frame series elm veneer with the same color. Franka was also processed in a very simple style, so that the frame finds numerous fans among art lovers. At 14 mm, the bar emerges from the wall as a straight plateau, where it is provided at the end with a very fine slanted edge that has been colored in black. This wafer-thin demarcation is followed by the top view, here also a straight surface, which also ends with the black demarcation line on the inside of the frame. The black of these two lines was once again taken up by the designers in the veneer grain. The real wood bar shares with other color nuances such as the most varied shades of brown, which go up to a golden yellow. The grain shows an individual pattern that many fans among art lovers will find. It is not uncommon for art collectors and gallery owners to present paintings and frames in the same colors, so that the motif does not get more than a clever, rounded frame. Paul Klee took on the colors of this frame in several motifs. Franka therefore matches the color of Klee's "Rose Garden" or "Southern Coast in the Evening". Vincent van Gogh also recognized this color combination in "Vase with gladiolus and asters" or in "Stilllife with Flowers". |
