| Fabiana presents itself as majestic as the Imperial series, to which this painting frame belongs. The gold frame, which is based on a gray limed wooden strip, is 62 mm wide and 36 mm high. The shape of Fabiana is a rounded braid that is accompanied by some delicate strips. The frame looks like a piece of jewelry in gold, because the decorations are designed with a sense of beauty. The frame on the outer edge actually begins with a small gold chain - round links lined up close together. Here the gold color was displayed in a wonderfully shiny manner. A rather matt dainty ledge paves the way to the bulbous main ledge. Flowery ornamental elements take up this place, but in a very delicate way, because a lot of space was allowed within the figures, which is what makes the airy character. The glossy tendrils are applied here on a matt background before they finally gain a foothold on a narrow gold bar in the lower area. A groove creates a narrow black line underneath to indicate the next ornament bar. A dense foliage is replaced by another, very thin gold chain and finally finished off with a golden, simple bar inside the picture. |
