| The designers of the Monda frame series created the Ellen model in Dürer Gold. Ellen is a gold frame that is simple but by no means boring. On the contrary, with art connoisseurs exactly this type of gold frame is exactly right when it comes to framing valuable pieces of art. With 25 mm in width and 22 mm in height, Ellen is a very narrow model under the picture frame. But that is exactly what makes it flexible, because many motifs require precisely narrow, simple frames that do not visually overlap the image. In addition, there is the advantage of the color gold, which is just as adaptable and can cleverly emphasize every color of various art prints. The gold that the makers selected for the Ellen frame is a strong and dark gold with red and black accents. The trained eye usually recognizes red elements in the horizontal filigree lines on the narrow outer strips and black elements in the inner border. The creators added other icing on the cake as additional design tools - in fact black icing on the cake that appear unordered at various points, as well as any vertically arranged lines. These are reminiscent of craquelé, a so-called crack network of old oil paintings. This character also enhances the antique charm of Ellen. |
