| The picture frame Cecilia is exalted by its special coloring, which is second to none. In French ebony, the frame impressively shows its viewer. Cecilia looks almost black, with some colorful accents relaxing the frame in its austere character. Both light gray lines and light brown accents in the ornamental structure show here the quite deliberate antiquity of the frame. Like a small roof ridge, the outer bar shows off its original ornaments, which are followed by an outward-facing, simple bar. Here the light gray accents are clearly applied. Two narrower strips in turn frame the ornamental interior. Like in a happy garden, it's all about this bar. The floral carvings invite to linger, so that they could almost compete with the picture to be framed. Raising leaves and flowers frolic here in the style of French ebony. From time to time, the light brown tones appear here and give the ensemble a particularly vivid impression. Floral may also be the motifs here. |
