| The Academic frame series Amelie is elegant and color-refined. The real wood frame was previously given a red patina by the designers to make the other colors black and beautiful gold leaf more durable and, above all, to make them appear even more intense. Another point here was the addition of effects in which the patina stands out again in various places. In the upper area, the Amelie frame is black, a matte, reserved black. The patina areas mentioned can be seen on the outer edges of the strips, which shine as reddish facets from the frame, sometimes in strong red, sometimes muted in reddish brown. The inner bar, which adjoins the picture to be framed, has received the gold tone. Various art effects are also used here. The reddish patina looks through the gold again and again. On the one hand, there is a large number of small dots in various sizes that are distributed wildly on the bar. On the other hand, the reddish appears in the form of lines that move parallel to the bar like the pattern of a wood grain. They are not solid lines, rather they behave wildly like the dots. |
