The Austrian painter Egon Schiele is especially famous for his portraits and his nude drawings, with which he provoked and split the art scene. The eminent artist of Viennese Modernism was born in 1890 and early developed his love of painting. His talent meant that he was admitted at the age of 16 at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. Only 12 years later, Egon Schiele died of the Spanish flu. In the short time of his artistic work he produced a unique complete work. In 1910, the "Kneeling Woman in an Orange-Red Dress" was created, an expressionist work of art that impresses above all with its expressiveness. The strong and bright colors look just like the shapes very harmonious. The depicted lady immediately captivates the viewer with her intense look and strong posture.
