Passionate Customer Service Museum Quality Art Prints Customization Options AvailableThe British painter Trevor Neal, born in the post-war period, comes from York and is a contemporary painter who can look back on more than 45 years of creative work. Neal is a self-taught artist, he did not attend art school, but taught himself his passion - painting - as well as the application of various techniques. Since the early 1970s, the works of the painter are repeatedly exhibited in galleries in the UK and the U.S., as well as Israel, Italy and Germany, and in the recent past repeatedly traded at auctions, such as his painting "The Onion".
Trevor Neal does not limit his creativity to a single medium, but exploits a wide range of different techniques. He uses oil paints just as masterfully as watercolor or the technique of charcoal drawing and thus also creates effective mixed-media masterpieces. As a result, his emotionally charged works are unique not only because of the materials he uses. The selection of his motifs is also as varied as that of few artists. Besides fast sports cars, over antique-like scenes, you can also find lively portraits to nudes and commissioned paintings - Trevor Neal always remains exciting. His dreamy landscape paintings invite the eye to linger and allow the viewer to revel in thoughts of faraway destinations. In his work as an artist, Neal is always inspired by his travels. But he is also a master of depicting surrealist motifs, and his painting titled "Eggs," for example, evokes memories of Salvador Dali. The painter, based near Sheffield in England. Partly surreal or at least contradictory and thus all the more interesting, some of his works seem by combining classical with modern representations into a harmonious image. His talent is further underscored by the fact that Neal always manages to skillfully combine the probable with the improbable to create a highly appealing work of art. He visited there the island of Capri, the Herculaneum as well as Pompeii and - his creativity inspired by his newfound impressions - created four paintings and a console table that reveals its secret of a hidden drawer only to the trained eye. The installation reflects the grandeur, but also the decay of the Neapolitan ruins that fascinated him.
